Unit 2 Lesson-1 Vacation

  GOAL: Greet someone arriving from a trip  Where were you last vacation, how was it? My last vacation was between June and July, where I traveled to Tolima-Ibague to visit my parents. I really enjoyed the trip, because it was the first time I was on a road trip and it was a beautiful experience because of the landscapes I could see. What did you learn in this class? Lesson 3- What are the Good and Bad eating Habits?

GOAL:  Discuss fitness and eating habits My good habits are eating healthy foods, such as vegetables, proteins, also taking supplements that provide me with iron and vitamins. One of my bad habits is not eating at set times or I get distracted by things while I'm eating. I also usually have lunch walking. Activity    in the morning: I prepare my breakfast. I organize my self to come to the university. In the afternoom: I see classes and advance work. In the evening  I go to church and prepare my dinner. 

Lesson 2- What are you doing this weekend?

 Goal: Talk about habitual activities and plans  I have to go to a family reunion, because my uncles from Cartagena are coming to visit. Remember: Can and can't  Example: Where can I  call my mom? He can bring his pet. she can't  visit her grandmother. VOCABULARY: Places for sport and exercise  I go to the pool on weekends I go to the gym on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Lesson 1- What do you have to do stay in shape?

Goal: Plan an activity with someone  I don't usually do a lot of exercise, however I don't usually take elevators to keep moving and get some exercise going up the stairs and I maintain a healthy diet. I don't usually eat junk food, but I do go out with my family and friends on weekends to eat pizza or hamburgers. Grammar can and have to Use can  + the base form of a verb for possibility, for example: I can learn English if I practice every day. I can buy a new cell phone if I save this year. Use have to or has to + the base form of a verb for obligation, for example: I have to take my dog to the veterinary. My mom has to work every day.
